Résumé : Decorated FBI Agent Emma Noble has made a career of uncovering the truth-but this time, the truth hits too close to home. A string of brutal murders has the FBI scrambling. All evidence points to one suspect: Emma's father, Sam Noble. A veteran CIA operative, Sam has vanished without a trace, leaving Emma torn between duty and loyalty. Determined to prove his innocence, she begins a relentless hunt for her father. As Emma digs deeper, she uncovers buried lies and family betrayal, threatening to shatter everything she believed about Sam-and herself. The terrifying question emerges: what if the man she's trying to save is the monster she's been hunting? With time running out and the body count rising, Emma faces an impossible choice: protect her family or bring her father to justice. A heart-pounding thriller where blood runs thicker than innocence.
Biographie:
Andrew Bridgeman has nearly as many twists in his own story as there are in his novel. A former rugby player, jazz singer, salesman, and entrepreneur, he finds inspiration in the characters he's crashed into along the way. Bridgeman studied creative writing at Dickinson College and earned his MBA from Washington University in Saint Louis. After decades in the St. Louis area, he now lives in New Hampshire with his wife, Kathy. He enjoys hiking in the mountains near his home, playing guitar, and exploring the US in an Airstream RV. This is Bridgeman's second novel....
