Résumé : On a dangerous mission to Brazil, investigator Paul Ondragon searches for secret plans that threaten to shatter the global balance of power. From the watery depths off the coast of Brazil, an eighty-year-old mystery emerges: the wreckage of a plane that crashed during an escape attempt by high-ranking Nazi officers at the end of World War II. The downed plane is of particular interest to historians, as it holds a watertight box in the largely undamaged cockpit that is said to contain a logbook with plans for a secret weapon developed by inventor Nikola Tesla-with which the Nazis had hoped to win the war. But the coveted container is nowhere to be found . . . Enter master problem solver Paul Ondragon, enlisted by the German foreign intelligence service to recover the elusive logbook. Now, with his own secret weapon-trusted assistant Charlize-by his side, Ondragon embarks on Operation Pandora, a perilous mission to locate the missing box before it sparks the next world war. As he races against time, he'll have to outmaneuver unseen adversaries who would see chaos unleashed on humankind-and the world plunged into darkness once more.
Sommaire:
Anette Strohmeyer is a German crime writer. She began her career illustrating comic books but unfortunately never developed the skills to rival her role model, Jean Giraud aka Moebius, so she decided to focus on the speech bubbles instead. Now, Strohmeyer is known for her fiction writing and meticulous, often immersive research work. She has participated in a voodoo ceremony in Haiti, eaten termites in the jungle, generated lightning in a high-voltage laboratory, and trekked through Japan's infamous Aokigahara Forest along the edge of Mount Fuji. Since 2018, Strohmeyer has lived in Denmark, where she splits her time between Copenhagen and the island of M?n. She also writes as Anne N?rdby, author of the bestselling Tom Skagen thriller series....
