Présentation Into The Primitive de Bennet, Robert Ames Format Broché
- Livre Littérature Générale
Résumé :
Into The Primitive is a novel set against the backdrop of a shipwreck on the desolate Mozambique coast. The story follows a group of survivors navigating the brutal challenges of survival in a harsh, untamed environment. As they struggle with injuries and the dangers of the wilderness, their differing temperaments and social standings come into conflict. The narrative highlights the contrast between a rugged, assertive survivor and a more refined, cautious gentleman, as they are forced into cooperation for their very survival. The sole woman among them becomes a central figure, complicating their dynamics and revealing the tensions between class, gender, and personal desires. The story explores the primal instincts awakened by dire circumstances, showcasing the emotional and moral struggles of the characters as they confront their vulnerabilities and the unforgiving landscape. Through the characters' interactions and their journey toward survival, the novel examines the complexities of human nature, resilience, and the breakdown of societal norms in the face of overwhelming adversity....
