Dipu Sarkar received his Ph.D from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science & Technology(IIEST), Shibpur, India in 2013. Currently he is working as an Associate Professor (Former HOD and Assoc. Dean, R&C) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of National Institute of Technology, Nagaland, India. He has more than 20 years of experience in academia. Dr. Sarkar has guided 6 PhD scholars and published more than 60 research papers in reputed journals, book chapters and conferences and one text book. His fields of interest are power systems operation and control, power systems stability, Grid integrated Renewable Energy, Power System Economics and Deregulated Power System, Power System Protection Coordination, Power apparatus monitoring, Soft computational applications in power systems, and smart grids....
