Présentation Lamentations de Jonathan Gibson Format Broché
- Livre Littérature Générale
Résumé : In his Bible study of Lamentations, Jonathan Gibson helps participants recover the lost, biblical art of lament and points us to Christ, who bears all our burdens. What do we do when life goes very wrong? The biblical answer is that we start by turning to God and sharing our distress and pain with him. But when was the last time you lamented to God? In our culture, we are averse to engaging with sin and death, suffering and sorrow, so we really don't understand how to apply the book of Lamentations to our lives. Lamentations: How God Lifts the Burden of Sin and Sorrow helps participants learn to lament and hear God's heart for them. In a busy world where grief is often ignored, this study invites us into the house of mourning and helps us gain a heart of wisdom for when hard times come. Featuring six lessons from the book of Lamentations, this easy-to-use small group resource includes leader's notes, discussion questions, a short article, and a practical application section that can be used for one-to-one discipleship, small group, or large group settings. It is part of The Gospel-Centered Life in the Bible series, examining how the gospel story is revealed through both the Old and New Testaments, published in partnership with Serge.
