Présentation Defender de Chris Allen Format Broché
- Livre Littérature Générale
Résumé : A rogue agent. A deadly conspiracy. Alex Morgan's baptism of fire. In his first solo mission as a black-ops Interpol agent, Alex Morgan is thrust into a world of betrayal and violence. Tasked with evacuating ex-pats from a coup-threatened African nation, Morgan soon uncovers a sinister plot involving a rogue MI6 agent and shadowy forces that threaten global stability. From the war-torn streets of Africa to Sydney's glistening harbor, Morgan races against time with the beautiful but enigmatic Arena Halls to stop a vicious renegade and expose a far-reaching conspiracy. With the clock ticking and enemies closing in, can Morgan prove he has what it takes? For fans of James Bond and Jason Bourne...
Biographie: Chris Allen is a highly experienced senior executive, author, public speaker, veteran and father. He is a member of the Australian Crime Writers Association (ACWA). The formative years of Chris's career began in the Australian Army, initially as a soldier before being selected for commissioning as an officer. His service included airborne forces, military intelligence, attachments to the New Zealand Army, the British Parachute Regiment and deployments to Africa, South East Asia and Central America. After almost fifteen years of military service, Chris was medically retired at the rank of Major. Chris's post-military career continued to reflect his commitment to service. He led security and logistics operations for CARE International in East Timor during the 1999 emergency. Later, in the wake of the September 11 attacks of 2001, he oversaw the upgrade of Counter Terrorism First Response (CTFR) measures at Sydney Airport. And in 2003 when protestors painted 'No War' on the sails of the Sydney Opera House, he was headhunted to take over the protection of the iconic landmark. In 2008 he was appointed Sheriff of New South Wales, one of Australia's most historic law enforcement appointments. In more recent years, he has continued his career as a senior executive, broadening his experience across a diverse range of roles within Commonwealth and State government departments, and the Not-For-Profit sector. Today, Chris lives on the New South Wales south coast with his sons, Morgan and Rhett. Fans will be thrilled by the long-awaited return of ALEX MORGAN and the INTREPID team in SHAPESHIFTER...COMING SOON! And Chris is currently finalising an exciting all new thriller series featuring veteran MI6 agent BENJAMIN RHETT and ASIO agent KAT THOMAS. Chris Allen is published by Vinci Books and Wavesound. He is represented by Key People Literary Management.
