Présentation Cornero's Gold de O'Brien, Larry Format Broché
- Livre Histoire
Résumé :
Cornero's Gold by Larry O'Brien is a sun-drenched dive into danger, heart, and buried secrets-where the California coast shimmers with possibility and every shadow hides a story waiting to explode. This irresistible detective tale pulls readers straight into 1970s Southern California, where a long-lost fortune, a legendary gambling ship, and one supposedly simple job spiral into murder, blackmail, and a high-stakes treasure hunt. Drawing from a life rich with real-world grit, O'Brien-once a foreign exchange trader, U.S. Naval Reservist, and later a private investigator-writes with the confidence of someone who knows how secrets move, how men lie, and how the past never stays buried for long. Bookwrights House is proud to present Cornero's Gold, a novel born from experience, memory, and a deep love of classic noir storytelling. O'Brien's journey to writing this book is as compelling as the story itself-shaped by decades of observation, loss, and resilience. The result is a novel that balances sharp wit with emotional depth, pairing fast-paced mystery with moments of romance, family, and personal strength. Kit O'Banion is a hero you'll root for: flawed, loyal, and unexpectedly tender, especially as he reconnects with Jacquie while navigating mob entanglements and dangerous truths. Perfect for readers who love Magnum P.I., Psych, and vintage California cool, Cornero's Gold delivers intrigue with a smile and suspense with soul. Now available at major online retailers, this is your invitation to crack open a mystery that sparkles with humor, nostalgia, and the thrill of uncovering what was never meant to be found. Dive in - the gold is waiting. ?...
