Présentation The Graveyard Bell de Greig, Andrew James Format Broché
- Livre Policiers
Résumé : Silent waters hide the deepest secrets A wildlife photographer plummets to his death above Fingal's Cave. A young fisherman vanishes without trace. The body of a marine scientist is pulled from the sea, his last recording a haunting piece of evidence. Three seemingly unconnected events on the Isle of Mull draw Private Investigator Te?rlach Paterson back to his childhood home. Hired by the photographer's widow to investigate her husband's death, Te?rlach quickly unravels a tangled web of family feuds, forbidden love and deep betrayals. The photographer's death was no accident and with the missing fisherman's father dying in hospital, Te?rlach must find his son before it's too late. But as a violent storm closes in, Te?rlach discovers that some will do anything to keep their darkest secrets buried... From a CWA New Blood Dagger Longlist author and McIlvanney Best Scottish Crime Novel Finalist comes an atmospheric murder mystery. Fans of LJ Ross, Ann Cleeves, and Val McDermid will be mesmerised by The Graveyard Bell.
Biographie:
Andrew James Greig writes crime and speculative fiction inspired by the wild and rugged Scottish landscape where he lives. Andrew spends his time writing, exploring islands and playing music. His first book was selected for the CWA New Blood Dagger award and was a finalist for the McIlvanney Prize for Scottish Crime Fiction in 2020. Born in London, he moved to Bristol where he studied engineering, providing the sound for Glastonbury and WOMAD festivals and touring the world with bands. In his saner moments he designed electronics and software systems for international aerospace companies. A member of the Society of Authors and regular contributor to literary festivals and events, he is as equally at home on the stage as on a windswept mountain top. Inspiration comes from the places he's seen on his travels but mostly from the people he meets along the way and the tales they have to tell....
