Biographie:
Gerald Alexander Anderson MBE was an English television and film producer, director, and writer known for his futuristic television programs, especially his 1960s productions filmed with Supermarionation . In the mid-1960s Anderson produced his most successful series, Thunderbirds. Other television productions included Stingray, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons and Joe 90. A shift towards live-action productions in the 1970s, culminated in the Space 1999 series'.

Gerry Anderson died in 2012.

Fred McNamara is a writer, editor and author who chiefly writes about the worlds of Gerry Anderson. He currently serves as the website editor for Anderson Entertainment and is the author of several books about Anderson's works, most recently Flaming Thunderbolts: The Definitive Story of Terrahawks.
