Présentation Artimon de Format Broché
- Livre 12 ans et +
Résumé :
Would you risk your life and all that you love when war could obliterate everything overnight? In ARTIMON, the sweeping sequel to Mask of Dreams, Leigh Grant transports readers back to the glittering yet dangerous world of Renaissance Italy, where love is fragile, loyalty is steadfast, and selflessness may be the only force powerful enough to defy fate. Rade, a former brigand turned Venetian merchant, has built a new life behind a carefully crafted identity and behind a mask that hides the scars of his past. Newly married to Caterina, to whom he has revealed his deception, he finally has something to safeguard. But when political intrigue and the looming Italian Wars pull him into a perilous journey across a fractured peninsula, everything he has gained is placed at risk. From the canals of Venice to the battle-scarred lands of northern Italy, ARTIMON blends immersive historical detail with a deeply emotional love story. As armies clash and alliances shift, Rade and Caterina must confront separation, danger, and the possibility that adapting to change may demand more than either of them is willing to give. Rich with authentic Renaissance culture, vivid characters, and cinematic adventure, this novel will captivate readers who love epic historical romance with emotional depth and historical realism. Perfect for fans of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander, C.W. Gortner, and Philippa Gregory, stories where history, romance, and high-stakes drama intertwine. If you crave sweeping historical worlds, unforgettable characters, and a love story tested by war and destiny, buy ARTIMON today and continue the journey. Leigh Grant holds degrees in art history and fine art from Hollins College (now Hollins University) and Pratt Institute, and studied in Paris and London. A former illustrator, she received the Steven Dohanos Award from the Society of Illustrators and appeared on the Today Show with Katie Couric for her book The Twelve Days of Christmas: A History and Celebration, which she both wrote and illustrated. She later created two pop-up books on Rome and Egypt and completed the certificate program at NYU to become an appraiser of fine art....

Artimon follows Mask of Dreams which, pre-publication, received the Chanticleer Reviews 2017 Chatelaine Grand Prize for Romantic and Women's Fiction and was shortlisted for the Chaucer Award for Historical Fiction Before 1750. As was Mask of Dreams, Artimon was also awarded an honorable mention for mainstream/literary fiction by Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Awards 2025. A sequel is underway.
