Kris is a person full of magic and enchantment. Someone radiating poetry through every alcohol-soaked pore. It really shows in this collection. The work of a mad, comical genius. My trusted Vlad Mag issue #3 editor (Bad Vibes). I don't trust many people, but I guess I trust Kris. I trust Kris irl. I trusted them enough to co-host an overbooked reading with me (I'll admit, this time it was Kris's fault) at a rodent burger joint in Seattle, WA, at yet another AWP suck fest, a few years ago.
I also trust Kris in poetry. One of the wildest and best. I'm very excited that Alexandra Naughton (I'll admit, a beast when it comes to karaoke-my God) put this collected bitch out on Be About It Press (I'll admit, a hell of a home), so people can experience Kris in proper poetic glory-a cornucopia of literary delights-the next best thing to knowing Kris irl. - Brian Alan Ellis...
