Under a Private Sky A collection of poetry that tells the story of a young girl trying to make sense of a twisted world where she lives, which makes her strike the question, what is this life? She lives in a world under a private sky, which burgeons trauma and pain. She begins to take the stories of her childhood and bury them deep within the organs of her body. As she carries the burdens through life, she grows sick with ailments until one day she wakes up and things buried are visible. Upon reflecting, she realizes the stories are making her sick. She begins to ask what is the world? Searching for answers in the dark enclosed circle, she finds light from above telling her the world is something much more than she realizes. Her father who is unique to the private world offers her kindness and peace where there is none. When she grows up to the age when she may have a family of her own, she realizes the children know innately from the womb how to live. In observing them, she finds they live in joy and sweetness before they are shown any differently. They intuitively move on a lighted path while moving away from what feels contrived. They live and love fully without inhibition, sharing their stories whole heartedly and listening not with their minds but their hearts. How do we live and walk beside each other in a world that is not short of pain and suffering so no one suffers alone?--...
