Words. They've always fascinated me. The way they flow together... the way they create. An entire world can be shaped through words. The Bible tells how God simply speaks and life was created. Words hold so much power, but most days we throw out words without a second thought. We don't think about the responsibility we hold when we speak and how we affect the people around us. This book was born out of a time when I was anxious and depressed, and yet searching for a God who loved me through it all. I'm not an outspoken person, so writing was my relief. I have so much to learn about the responsibility of my words, but God was teaching me - even then - how important it is to speak. I kept so much trapped inside, but my life changed the moment I spoke it out. Poetry has since become my way of speaking it out. This book holds my heart and now you hold my heart in your hands. Take care of my words.
