How would you live your life if you believed any day could be your last?

Having the same genetic mutation that took both her mother and grandmother, Birdie Rose Hawkins meets her thirty-seventh birthday with the grim belief that this year will also be her last. While she normally spends her days living by lists, rules, and routines-alone-she starts her final year doing something she never does: having a one-night stand with a handsome stranger named Bo.
