Carly has published a short novel, Compass Rose, poems in Crosswinds and All We Can Hold, multiple articles on infant loss, and regularly finds herself processing life through writing. You can find her rambling musings about motherhood, poetry, and more on her website. She has a Master of Arts in English, and pre-kids, she worked at the local cancer center. Carly currently teaches writing classes at college, but volunteers regularly with little ones in elementary schools who keep her energized and as hip as she'll ever be. Carly lives near the Blue Ridge mountains with her husband, three children, a rescue dog who thinks she's a human, and a baby boy in the sky.
