Biographie:
Carol Lamberg is a distinguished leader in affordable housing with a career spanning several decades. She served as Executive Director of the Settlement Housing Fund from 1983 until her retirement in 2014, having been involved with the organization since its founding in 1969. Under her leadership, the Fund developed over 8,900 apartments across New York City, many of which are mixed-income communities that include social programs and amenities.Before this, Lamberg was Vice President at Roger Schafer Associates, where she worked with nonprofit and religious organizations on housing initiatives. She also co-founded the New York Housing Conference and later became its Co-Chair and Life Trustee, contributing significantly to housing legislation, including amendments to key federal and state housing laws.A graduate of Radcliffe College and a Loeb Fellow at Harvard University, Lamberg is also an author, policy writer, and award-winning advocate.
