      • Résumé :
A wonderful, moving story about love and loss, focusing on two generations: grandmother and granddaughter. -Marie W. Watts, author of Tough Trail Home A beloved home. A life's legacy. One decision that could change everything. Asheville, North Carolina. At ninety, Elizabeth has faced a lifetime of hard choices-but this one may be her last. When a developer makes an offer for her cherished Blue Ridge Mountain farmhouse, she's forced to confront the past she built there... and the family who may want her to let it go. As her memories drift back to the 1950s, Elizabeth relives the love story that shaped her life-one born from chance, tested by tragedy, and never forgotten. In the present day, her granddaughter Amanda is at a crossroads of her own. After leaving a dead-end relationship, the thirty-four-year-old nurse wonders if she's missed her chance at love-until a new connection sparks hope... and uncertainty. As past and present intertwine, two women-one nearing the end of her journey, the other just beginning-must find the courage to trust what comes next. Can their stories lead to healing, hope... and a lasting legacy? An emotional, multi-generational story of resilience, family, and second chances, Elizabeth's Mountain is perfect for readers who love:Dual timelines Heartfelt romance Strong female characters Stories of love that endure across generations Discover the unforgettable story that has captivated thousands of readers....

        Biographie:
Lucille's first novel, Like Wine, was a tribute to her mother and getting it into print before she passed was her goal. She considers Elizabeth's Mountain to be her true debut novel. When she was young, walking into a bookstore, with its new book smells and feels, was more exciting to her than a candy shop. She has lived most of her life in northern New Jersey and now lives in South Carolina with her husband, close to her two daughters and grandchildren. Lucille loves stories that lift her up and gratify her and where she can take a little of the characters inside of her and sometimes see herself in them....
