David Nakano lives in French Polynesia. He enjoys riding his bicycle on the island roads and is a volunteer as manager of a local cycling club, V?lo Club Bora Bora....

David Nakano was born into a Japanese family and raised in Japan. From an early age, he felt a natural attraction to the French language, later studying French literature and discovering a deep fascination for the beauty of words and the power of storytelling. After graduating, he moved to the islands of the South Pacific,where he spent nearly thirty years working in the hospitality industry. Encounters with travelers,the scent of the sea and the wind, and the cultures of the islands quietly shaped his imagination. Living between multiple languages and cultures,he believes that stories are born in these in?between spaces. A devoted cyclist, he is often seen riding under the Polynesian skies along the lagoons of the Pacific Ocean....
