Este manual del escritor nace de la necesidad de reunir, en un solo texto, toda la informaci?n did?ctica, pr?ctica y te?rica sobre este g?nero literario, y as? poder ofrecer a profesores y estudiantes de literatura espa?ola un manual conciso, hist?rico y actualizado sobre las diversas formas de escribir novelas, dando rienda suelta al esp?ritu creativo de una forma ordenada. Pero antes de continuar, quisiera destacar un aspecto crucial para cualquier escritor, ya sea principiante o experimentado: la importancia de la continua preparaci?n y educaci?n adecuada. Un escritor debe poseer s?lidos conocimientos de gram?tica y escritura en general. Adem?s, es fundamental dedicar tiempo a la lectura, ya que esto permite identificar su propio estilo y enriquecer sus conocimientos. He aqu?, expuestos con claridad y exactitud, los conocimientos b?sicos para quienes acometen la tarea de escribir novelas y el estudio de la literatura en general. Toda obra de arte, y en particular las creaciones literarias, plantea problemas est?ticos y de formas, corrientes, influencias, etc., que hay que considerar a la hora de examinar su profundidad. Este manual provee al lector de las nociones fundamentales desde el punto de vista est?tico y t?cnico sobre la confecci?n de la novela como g?nero literario. Pese a la brevedad del texto, creo que no falta nada esencial en el mismo. La precisi?n de una idea va siempre acompa?ada de una pulcra y elegante forma narrativa y expositiva de los hechos, mejorada con ejemplos y ejercicios para hacer de esta obra una herramienta de trabajo excelente, extraordinariamente ?til para todo aquel que desee incursionar en esta dif?cil pero apasionante tarea de penetrar en el mundo de la creatividad literaria en general y en la novela en particular. Tal vez esta sea la raz?n fundamental que justifica la excelente acogida a esta breve pero concisa obra. Espero que este sencillo aporte a la cultura de nuestra lengua castellana sea provechoso tanto para profesores como para futuras generaciones de escritores, as? como para aquellos que, de una forma u otra, son principiantes en el dif?cil arte de escribir. Existen varias f?rmulas para escribir una narrativa interesante, el correcto uso del idioma castellano, la adecuada funci?n de los escenarios, ?pocas, personajes, etc., y la imaginaci?n del autor al desarrollar la trama, real o ficticia, creando un buen cl?max y, en forma descendente....
