Sommaire: Originally published in 1925, this volume was written at a time when the cost of living was rising in France and the currency of the Franc was declining. Uneasiness over possible national bankruptcy or financial disintegration was increasing. The book reveals the true financial situation in France and outlines a plan for the restoration of sound financial and economic conditions. As well as discussing the economy of post-World War I France the book also touches on the social and political problems of the time.
