Marcy's writing career has spanned four decades and includes numerous online magazine articles while working as a staff writer for Otter Public Relations and a book that memorializes her father's incredible coaching career. We Call Him Coach: Four Decades of Memories with Coach Dick McDonald is a local interest book depicting the outstanding achievements of her father and his athletes in the small, Illinois town named Blue Mound.A veteran educator, Marcy has taught seventh-grade language arts, AP Literature, AP Language, and everything in between. Marcy and her husband Vince met at her first teaching position. They have been married 34 years, have two daughters, Abby and Andrea, and reside in Cerro Gordo, Illinois....
