We fail the uniquely-abled community when we are unprepared to partner with and minister to them. As they form meaningful relationships with God, we must be ready! New Community Interactive Devotional is a tool that raises awareness and introduces readers to a higher level of understanding of faith, disability, and purpose. It allows them to interact with several Scriptures, narratives, prayers, and testimonies. Regardless of ability, this devotional challenges its readers to see opportunities rather than barriers. It can be used as an easy resource for personal study or group discussion. Dr. Edwards has a unique and relatable way of connecting authentically through shared experiences and compassion. She is a mom who not only speaks about life with a disability but lives out disability daily. Her daughter, age 33, was diagnosed with Down Syndrome at birth.
