Halloran and Ochoa catch the kidnapper as Halloran's partner tracks down the killer in the cold case. Both cases reach stunning conclusions that leave the reader satisfied and wanting more....

        Biographie:
        John Gorman started his journalism career in 1972 at the storied City News Bureau of Chicago after serving in the Peace Corps in India. He joined the Chicago Tribune in 1974. He spent half of his 26 years at the Tribune as a reporter covering courts, cops and catastrophes and was twice a runner-up for the Pulitzer Prize. He was the first reporter at the scene of John Gacy's home in 1978 after the police began finding bodies buried in his crawl space. As an Assistant City Editor for 13 years, he oversaw the city desk, herding, helping and harassing reporters. Later, he spent nearly a decade as the Communications Director for the Cook County State's Attorney's office. Prior to starting his journalism career, he drove a taxi in Chicago, bartended in Australia, South Africa, and various gin mills in Chicago and traveled through Europe before returning to the U.S. in 1971. He was an All-City basketball player at Loyola Academy and played Division I ball for Xavier University in Cincinnati. His previous novel Death Before Life received glowing reviews on Amazon. Snatch & Catch is his second Mike Halloran Detective Novel. He lives in Hinsdale with his wife, Janice....
