Présentation Crucifixion Tag de Matthew Dujnic Format Broché
- Livre Littérature Générale
Résumé :
Crucifixion Tag is a mystery and a coming of age story. Follow three fifth-grade classmates - Mary, Simon, and Alec, as they pull at the criminal and spiritual threads unraveling about their small Catholic parish. It's funny, grim, cozy, discomfiting. Chocked with colorful characters and infused with spiritual spiralling, the way a candy bar is chocked with raisins and infused with nougat and other god-forsaken adulterants. --- On Sunday night, someone tried to burn down the rectory. The adults say it was an accident. Mary knows better. Witnessing from her window, she clocked the perp as a boy from her fifth-grade class. So, while priests take up second collections, Mary flexes untested detective skills to muscle-up suspects and get to the truth herself. Simon already knows the truth: God isn't real. Cruelty is eternal, from teachers to not-friends to the boy under the desk. These bullies are proof enough for him. But then Simon stumbles into Mary's world, and their shared love of mysteries. Maybe things can change. Alec is happy for things to never change, or at least only change how God would want. Alec knows God...
Biographie:
he's banked so many points for Heaven, it's not even funny. Nothing is funny. People should take him seriously...
