    • Résumé :

What makes you different is what makes you special.

Rainbow Rabbit doesn't look like the other rabbits in Lettuce Valley - and that makes life a little harder. Teased and left out, he begins to wonder if he'll ever truly belong. But through the kindness of the Princess, the King, and the Queen, and the courage he finds within himself, Rainbow Rabbit discovers an important truth: being unique is something to celebrate.

This heartfelt picture book gently teaches children about kindness, acceptance, and embracing differences in a way they can understand, remember, and carry with them.

As featured at the Strong Museum of Play.

Perfect for parents, teachers, and school counselors, this book helps children:

      • Build self-confidence and believe in themselves

      • Understand and respond to bullying with empathy

      • Practice kindness and celebrate what makes others different

      • Develop social-emotional skills that last a lifetime

Why Educators Love Rainbow Rabbit: Rainbow Rabbit is used in Pre-K through Grade 3 classrooms as a read-aloud and discussion starter for social-emotional learning (SEL), anti-bullying programs, and kindness initiatives. Its gentle story and vibrant illustrations make difficult conversations feel safe, warm, and age-appropriate.

      Sommaire:

After his time at Walt Disney, Arthur Vallee built a career in the automobile business. But artistry never left him.

He drew constantly. It was always there, quietly running alongside everything else he did. And eventually, that passion became Rainbow Rabbit. A story he believed, with his whole heart, could teach children something the world needed more of. Kindness. Belonging. The courage to be exactly who you are.

Arthur passed away in 2010 before seeing his dream of having Rainbow Rabbit read in classrooms all over the world. His family has continued his legacy with new charachters, stories and more children inspired each day.

Rainbow Rabbit tells the story of a colorful rabbit in Lettuce Valley who feels out of place among the other rabbits. When the Princess sees him. Really sees him. Everything changes. Because being different was never a flaw. It was his greatest gift.

      WHAT PARENTS AND EDUCATORS LOVE:

      • A timeless story rooted in kindness, empathy, and inclusion

      • Sparks meaningful conversations about what makes us unique

      • Builds social-emotional learning (SEL) skills through storytelling

      • Perfect read-aloud for ages 3-9, Pre-K through Grade 3

      • Featured at the Strong Museum of Play

Through Rainbow Rabbit, we learn that we must remain true to who we are, no matter what obstacles stand in our path.

Also available: The Rainbow Rabbit Storytelling Coloring Book. 40+ pages of screen-free creative fun that brings the story to life.

Arthur's passion has not been forgotten. Help us carry it forward.
