Résumé : The science of carbon materials has experienced a renaissance in recent decades, with Nobel prizes having been awarded for the discovery of C60 in 1996, and graphene in 2010. Other areas of carbon science have also flourished, with notable advances having been made in the synthesis of diamond by chemical vapour deposition and in the preparation and applications of carbon dots.
