Présentation Potters Pond de Stoneman, Alan Format Broché
- Livre Humour
Résumé :
Colonel Foster is angry, and when the colonel is angry people suffer. Usually it is only the members of the West Frittington Golf club of which he is the secretary that suffer; now however, it is the town council, who are threatening to place a compulsory purchase order to acquire the western side of the golf course to build a reservoir. Now it is war! The colonel together with an eclectic group of locals set out to protect their territory by any means possible - fair or foul - Never underestimate the determination and ingenuity of a group of people that include a magistrate, a primary school teacher, an accountant, an American Air Force officer, the local estate agent and a very resourceful lady of genteel upbringing. Even the local MP seems to be involved, if only to protect his favourite watering hole. And why has a property development company paid cash for a useless piece of land known locally as the Marshlands? Something is afoot and it goes right up to the groin.
