        Jan G. West, Ph.D., a sixth-generation Texan, was taken on a global journey that shaped her unique perspectives. Raised in Hawaii and England, her early education included languages like Japanese, Hawaiian, French, German, and Latin. Returning to Texas, she began university at 15, selling insurance and real estate to fund her bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees. In 1982, Jan founded the National Business Research Institute, pioneering the application of scientific psychological research to business management. Under her guidance, NBRI became a leading, global consulting firm. Now retired, she enjoys exploring the world with her beloved husband from their homes in Hawaii, England, and Texas. Jan also finds joy in cooking, gardening, reading and researching, bringing a rich tapestry of experiences to her writing....
