Cheryl Lynn Wilson Lott born January 1,1958. My father was an Airforce Sergeant who trained troops for Vietnam War. Later, too go on an receive a BS in Marketing from Southwest Texas State University in San,Marcos,Texas.He also,loved to write and wrote for a local black ???? newspaper. My mother was a nurse an retired from Audie Murphy VA Hospital. I'm the oldest of four children born to this union. I have two sisters and one brother. I attended Highlands High School in San Antonio, Texas. Our family moved to Houston,Texas and I attended Texas Southern University. I decided San Antonio, Texas was where I wanted to reside. Continuing my College Education, I attended St.Phillips College .Then, went on to receive a BA in Education from Incarnate Word University. Throughout my teaching career I read so,many children's books. I finally decided, I can write a children's book too ! My first children's book was My Firefly Friend ! The second version of My Firefly Friend was republished in December of 2023 and went live January 2024 on Amazon. The second children's book was Do You Have a Sleepy Grandma ? My second book was inspired by my Grandma,who was ,also a teacher. I'm a Member of Who's Who American Women and Authors. I enjoy watching my grandchildren grow and the funny antics,they bring. Hopefully, my daughter's will save their writings in school ! And another author will be born into the family !...

The Coloring Book is here! This book was written by the author because her favorite childhood activity was catching fireflies in her front yard with her sisters. The fireflies would fly through the trees and past us in our yard. We couldn't wait to snag one in a jar and examine the bright, glowing, flickering light. It was as if the fireflies wanted to let us know they were present. In My Firefly Friend, one little girl has a special Firefly who visits her every night, glowing just outside her window as she is tucked into her bed ready to sleep. Although she very much wants to catch him with her jar, she also appreciates his beauty as he flits freely through the night, returning to visit when he knows she is waiting for him.
