A Fleeting Glimpse is a collection of short stories, each beginning with a quick peek into someone's life and then continuing to answer the question: What is happening to this person? How does it feel for an ordinary woman to get behind the wheel of a race car? Why does a little boy go campaigning for a local election? How does collecting redeemable cans cause conflict? How do a group of elderly women decide to plan a robbery? These and other stories provide a glimpse into the moments in a person's life when a choice is made and the consequences of that choice....

Biographie:
K.E. Swope was born in south central Pennsylvania in 1943. She became a teacher, but inside she remembered the road past her parent's home and how she wished she could see what was at the other end. After teaching, she took time off for two growing boys and later became a technical writer. With her husband's encouragement, she did followed some new roads-among others, she became a licensed soccer referee, drove a race car and climbed the Great Wall of China. Now retired, she lives in southeastern Connecticut....
