The adoption of innovative financial products gives a golden chance to banks to move from conventional banking operation to modern banking system, from cash holder society to cashless society, from branch premises dependent to branchless banking system. Which mean that banking beyond branches and banking beyond time and space limitation. Financial delivery mechanisms include both mobile phone based systems, internet based, automated teller machines that helps to withdraw and deposit money, point of sale device networks, are used to transmit transaction details among the financial service provider, the retail agent, and the customer.The Ethiopian financial sector has remained safe, sound, well capitalized and profitable. However, the common understanding of innovative financial technologies is far apart from bank to bank. 60% of the total population in Ethiopia is unbanked society which means they have no bank accounts and almost all banked societies those have an account in bank, are cash based customers and yet not adopt these innovative financial technologies.The modern societies are exercising cashless and branchless financial transactions for their daily needs....
Biographie:
Geletesa Negeri Jirata wurde am 16. November 1978 in Wellega, Nekemte City, geboren. BA-Abschluss in Bank- und Versicherungswesen an der Universit?t Jimma im Jahr 2006. MSc. in Finanzen und Investitionen von der Universit?t Mekelle im Jahr 2011. Sechs Jahre Erfahrung in akademischen Einrichtungen als Universit?tsdozent. Seit Kurzem ist er im Bankensektor in leitender Funktion t?tig.
