Jay B. Greene was born, grew up and lives in Sarasota. He studied environmental science and journalism in college, graduating from the University of Florida. His passion for storytelling propelled him into a 40-year career covering healthcare, government, crime, and the environment for various newspapers across multiple states. Greene is the author of Mountain Crossing, Becky, Bone Valley and Nokomis Hospital, the first four books in the Jack Kendall Mystery series. He has also written the first two books in the Tim and Peggy Smith Space Adventure trilogy, Danger From Space and Flight to the Stars.
