Like someone once told me that in the American Colonies, among the first group of people to arrive were an older group of men. They paid for their trip on the ship by promising to work for a certain amount of time without pay to pay off their debt for traveling on the ship. I was told these men all had false teeth. Hence, they were labeled as the first 'Indentured Servants.' This book's author, James E. Larson, believes puns are an example of intelligent humor. At first, the reader is trying to figure out the juxtaposition of two different words that may sound identical but have two different meanings, and/or then they are looking up the different meanings of the words to obtain their exact definitions. Either way, you are learning something which is a good thing. The author hopes you enjoy this book and it brings you a smile at least.
