Featuring his signature environmental metaphors, sun memos, like his debut book, brainwaves, is split into four parts and allows readers to join him on a journey of personal realisations and acts as an invitation to enter a vulnerable relationship between the writer and the reader within the pages of his prose. sun memos was brought to life amongst the relative chaos of Ziggy Alberts' extensive touring of the world. As Ziggy said - it was almost lost in the years between, and I can breathe a sigh of relief now these sun memos are bundled into these pages. Writing poetry has nothing todo with publishing it. Writing poetry is what music has been for me since the very beginning: an outpour. Minimal planning, maximum emotion.
