Biographie:
Julie Stevens was always out in front, winning races and taking centre stage at the theatre. A career in teaching followed, but was brought to an end by a diagnosis of MS (Multiple Sclerosis). This didn't stop her. Her poems are now the winners, inspiring others by speaking honestly of the triumphs and upsets of her disabled life. Step into the Dark ventures inside the mind and finds the unimaginable truth. It will show you the true impact of being disabled, whilst bringing a message of care, hope and success for everybody. Julie Stevens writes poems that cover many themes, but often engages with the problems of disability.
