Soon after the war ended, a young Eleanor Hutchinson dreams of a job as an ornithologist. Without the training, experience and social standing the chances are slim. Rob Butler is a professional ornithologist in Canada and author of three other books. He holds a PhD in Zoology from the University of British Columbia.
