Judy Shelton is a senior fellow at Independent Institute, former chairman of the National Endowment for Democracy, and former U.S. director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. She has provided testimony before the Senate and has been consulted on international monetary issues by the White House and the Pentagon. She holds a PhD in business administration from the University of Utah and received a postdoctoral fellowship from the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
