Résumé : As followers of Jesus, we often think that the most important thing that we can do in our lifetime is to make sure that we know Jesus, right? Also, we want to make sure that others know Jesus. Shouldn't that be our goal? Shouldn't our goal be to make sure that we know Jesus and to make sure that others we encounter know Jesus? That is certainly a great goal, but is it the most important question that we can ask? Is there a better question, a deeper question, that we should ask? I believe there is a better question that we need to start asking - WILL JESUS KNOW ME? WILL JESUS KNOW YOU? Knowing Jesus is a great starting place, but being known by Jesus should be the ultimate goal for each of us as Christ followers, and it should be the ultimate goal for all those that we tell and teach about Jesus. In Matthew 7, Jesus gives a warning for those that think they know Him, while He doesn't know them. The purpose of this book is to provide a blueprint of what we can do to be known by Jesus! I hope it ignites a desire within us to strive each day to be known more and more - so that on that day of judgement, we will hear Jesus tell us that He knows us!
Biographie:
Jason Butler - Slave to the Father and slave to Jesus. Jason was a successful salesman in the technology industry for many years, chasing a level of success through money, position, and power that would be envied by most. He chased and caught the American Dream, only to be completely unfulfilled and empty. In 2012, God told Jason to leave his successful career to follow Jesus. Jason left his career in January 2013, with inspiration from the disciple Matthew, who also left a successful business career as a tax collector - to follow Jesus! Jason has held many positions in ministry since leaving his career, but continues to focus on a goal of showing and teaching people how to pursue a closer relationship with Jesus, as they learn to Follow Jesus. Jason is married to Wendy, a wonderful wife and mother to the two coolest boys in the world - Peyton and Parker. Jason's goal is to glorify the Father in everything that he does - a slave...to the Father...
