ski, Takato Yamamoto and Ernst Fuchs, Johnston's mind-bending artistic approach can best be seen in his ongoing Transformation series, split into four parts titled Deform, Divide, Attract, and Recur.Johnston studied at the Swedish Academy of Realist Art, where he now teaches. In 2018, he held his first solo exhibition, Interoception, at Last Rites Gallery in New York City, and his works have been shown in several group exhibitions across Australia and the United States....

Miles Johnston was born in the UK in 1993 and spent the formative years of his early childhood in Brunei, Borneo, an experience that profoundly influenced his perspective. This exposure to a vastly different environment instilled in him the realization that there is no singular concept of 'normal'.
