Résumé :
In navigating grief and mental health struggles, I often felt like some emotions were unwelcome visitors in my brain. When I thought on that idea of emotions as visitors, I asked myself What else visits me? I thought about how people, plants, animals, natural occurrences, etc. are all visitors in some way. I tried to approach each poem through a lens of being visited-- I wanted to address how these visits happen, how they feel, and the impressions each of these visits leaves on me. I also asked myself What else gets visited? I tried to capture what it feels like to be visited as well as the impressions that are left on other people and things that are visited. I hope you enjoy exploring these poems and that they can be welcome visitors to you....

Biographie:
Krystle is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma and a proud member of Chickasaw Nation. She has a Bachelor's Degree is psychology and Spanish and works in victim services. Writing is a lifelong passion and poetry is her favorite creative outlet....
