I am sharing my story, God Delivered Me from Myself, to help another woman going through the same experiences that I have lived. So many women go unheard; they are disregarded, abandoned, misunderstood, belittled, misled, and lied to, all because we allowed people to come into our lives. We do not want to let them go even if they cause destruction to ourselves. We don't understand that we are beautiful, amazing, strong, and capable of the impossible. We should never allow anyone to contradict or speak contrary to our beliefs. My story is not my own, so I will not hold onto what I know God has kept me alive to tell. God Delivered Me from Myself shows the years of abuse I had allowed, not only in my life but my children's life. It speaks about my days of prostitution, a slew of men and women degrading my body because of how I felt about myself. This book also talks about alcoholism and how it took a toll on me. God saved me from a life of destruction, misuse of alcohol, and being a sex slave to men and women. It took me a long time to understand God's love for me.
