In the telling of this collection of stories, Arthur documents once and for all, to his wife, three children, and future descendants, not only about his transition between horse & buggy days to space travel, but also his unspoken career in military intelligence. Arthur could only hope that after growing up in The Great Depression, becoming an American Soldier, taking his family across the globe and back again, & two tours of Vietnam, regardless of how it ended, it was all not for naught.
