    • Résumé :
Powerful and evocative Chris Riches, Daily Express The Smallest Wave is moving, evocative, inspirational - an absolute must-read The London Economic An unmissable, inspirational memoir of an adventurous life. Female First magazine The fierce and unapologetic voice of Dolores Reynals is matched by a cinematic writing style Global Woman magazine This tiny volume is a book annotator's dream with a lyrical style that had me marinading in every page. Travelling Page Turner There is fierceness in the smallest wave. Born in Mendoza, Argentina, Dolores Reynals began life fighting-baptised twice before her first month when doctors assumed she wouldn't survive. Growing up in a large family, she learned early to question rules, challenge expectations, and follow her own curiosity. But at age twelve, a family celebration ignites a question that will haunt Dolores for decades: what does it mean to be a woman? In pursuit of answers, Dolores leaves home at eighteen and travels across Europe, chasing independence and adventure. From theatre studies in London and Buenos Aires to radio, stage, and a love that burns bright for a while, Dolores carves her own path against pressure and convention. But unbeknownst to her, a global storm is brewing-a forced detour that sends Dolores to Tulum, Mexico, and a version of home she never expected: a place, a life, and a self fully her own. The Smallest Wave is a memoir of resilience, rebellion, and the courage to live fully, freely, and on your own terms....

      Biographie:
Dolores Reynals was born in Mendoza, Argentina, and has lived between London, Athens, Los Angeles, Madrid, Mexico, and Buenos Aires. An actress and voice artist, she has performed on stage, film, radio, and podcasts, including Netflix cartoons and the British Podcast Awards-finalist Cold Case. The Smallest Wave grew from her questioning the expectations placed on women-to marry, to conform, to be what she was supposed to be. Through writing, she explores independence, identity, and the courage to carve a life fully her own....
