Altin l?dt die Betrachter*innen ein, in raumgreifenden Installationen Prozessen der Ver?nderung und des Werdens beizuwohnen.? Altin ist Preistr?gerin des Hannah-H?ch-F?rderpreises 2024. Die Ausstellung in der Berlinischen Galerie ist im Sinne einer spekulativen Kartografie lesbar. Die begleitende Publikation vereint zwei B?nde und ist eine experimentelle Weiterf?hrung der Ausstellung. Enthalten sind Essays von Maren L?bbke-Tidow und Federica Bueti, sowie Vorworte von Katia Reich und Thomas K?hler.? ?zlem Altin (b. Goch, 1977; lives and works in Berlin) examines the relationship between photography, the archive, and the body. For her work, Altin refers to a collection of photographic images that she has assembled over the past years and combines found imagery with her own photos and paintings into dense compositions. Some motifs that resonate emotionally-the mask, the mermaid, the heron-are recurring symbols, which embody a state of in-betweenness. Altin invites viewers into immersive installations to witness processes of change and becoming.? Altin is awarded the 2024 Hannah-H?ch-F?rderpreis. Her exhibition at the Berlinische Galerie can be read as a speculative cartography. The accompanying catalogue unites two volumes and is an experimental continuation of the exhibition. It contains essays by Maren L?bbke-Tidow and Federica Bueti, as well as forewords by Thomas K?hler, and Katia Reich.? ?
