Brent Rogers received a bachelor's degree in biology from William Penn College and has spent his 30-year career in food research & development. Simultaneously, he has exercised his keen interest in conservation and history as a nonprofit volunteer. Foremost among them has been the National Wild Turkey Federation. He has served the organization in elected or designated positions at the local, state, and national levels. He is on the Hall of Fame committee for the Grand National Callmaking Competition and provides educational seminars. Fusing his professional and personal pursuits led to Rogers researching the history of wild turkeys and turkey hunting culture in North America.
