John Riggs is a veteran educator with over 10 years of experience making learning fun and engaging for his students. After receiving his B.S. in Elementary Education from Fort Hays State University, John began his teaching career in elementary classrooms before transitioning to teaching middle school math and literature.???John soon saw the potential to captivate students by making learning more game-like. He began experimenting with gamification techniques in his own classrooms and witnessed significantly increased student motivation, engagement, and academic performance. He earned his M.Ed. in Technology and Learning, focusing on the impact of gamification of learning.???????John lives in the Kansas City suburbs with his wife Michelle, two daughters, and their dogs.
