      Lady Charlotte Elizabeth Guest (19 May 1812 - 15 January 1895), later known as Lady Charlotte Schreiber, was an English noblewoman who is best known for being the first person to write the Mabinogion in modern print form. She was a great speaker and married to the famous Welsh ironmaster John Josiah Guest. Together, they made her a major figure in the study of literature and the Welsh Renaissance in general during the 1800s. It is known that she and her second husband, Charles Schreiber, collected china in the 1800s. The Victoria and Albert Museum has their collection. She also put together many large collections of fans, games, and playing cards, which she then gave to the British Museum. She was known as an international businesswoman, a leader in liberal education, a generous donor, and a guest for the wealthy.
