In Other Words is an epic journey of poetic verse that reflects the artist's vision of his dreams and personal experiences. Compiled, revised, and edited during the summer and fall of 2022, it is a culmination of a lifelong collection of ideas and writings, and the result of an intense rebirth of creativity. This coincided with the author's recent battle with throat cancer, which while extremely difficult, finally gave him the time he needed to put forth the effort needed to put together such an important work. Poetry fans will delight in the author's ability to intersperse the simple with the profound, providing works that will appeal to both the casual reader and scholars.

Biographie:
Douglas Owens is an emerging poet, struggling musician, and incurable globetrotter. Having spent his career in humanitarian response, he has served as an emergency manager, logistics expert, and various other roles in public service. His focus is now on pursuing his passions in literature, music, and travel.
