Biographie:
Preston Ford is an American fiction writer whose work explores themes of identity, memory, morality, and the metaphysical boundaries of human experience. Raised in the Deep South and a graduate of Auburn University Montgomery and Johns Hopkins University, Ford brings a wide-ranging literary sensibility to his fiction. From the brutal moral reckonings of Quarter Moon: A Novel of the American South, to the haunting ambiguity of Days of Unease, to the witty and intimate romanticism of The 49th Steet Diner & Other Stories, he examines the inner space of the human psyche and renders it in stark, unapologetic realism while at the same time refusing to follow literary trends. His fiction remains deeply human, even when confronting the surreal. Though still emerging in mainstream critical circles, Ford has produced a body of work marked by stylistic precision and emotional depth. His stories have appeared in independent journals, literary anthologies, and digital platforms, earning praise for their insight, elegance, and originality....
