Bullying to keep his true identity from being revealed, Shay stays cruel to anyone that dares to get close to him, as a buffer of emotional safety. Hoping to break free one day from family trauma, and live on his own he is desperate to find solace in family and friends who can provide peace of mind and safety. Biographie:
About The Author Laurell Lane lives in the wheat fields of Montana with her dogs, Julia, Romeo and special needs cat Willow, along with many other friends at the Blue Heron Animal Shelter. In addition, Lane, a Child Development Specialist with a Master's Degree in Social Work, combines years of experience with her work as a Child & Family Therapist, Juvenile Probation Officer and Social Worker to create stories that encourage readers to use problem-solving strategies and ways to develop higher self-esteem, much like the characters in the books she shares.
